We asked our families why they had switched to REAL School at the beginning of the school year. This is what they said:
1. My child was unhappy
Parents know when their child isn’t excited about school. When your child doesn’t want to go to school in the morning or seems down at the end of the day, it’s a sign that something isn’t right.

2. My child felt unsafe
No parent wants to hear that their child feels unsafe at school. Whether it’s due to bullying, feeling left out, or lacking the right emotional support. It's a worry that can weigh heavily on families.
At REAL School, we take these concerns seriously. We create a close-knit, caring community where children are looked after, both emotionally and physically.
Our smaller class sizes and strong relationships also mean that teachers really know each child, and the children know they have someone to turn to. For example, with 12 nationalities in the team, there is always a person our students can talk to in their native language. We make sure every student feels secure, valued, and supported—so they can focus on growing and thriving in a safe, welcoming environment.
Safety isn’t just about physical security—it’s also about creating an environment where students feel emotionally secure and confident to express themselves.
3. I was not heard
Many parents felt disconnected from their child’s previous school and were unable to communicate concerns or provide input into their child’s education.
At REAL School, we believe that education is a partnership between the school and the family. We encourage regular, open communication between parents, educators, and school leadership to ensure that each child’s needs are met.
